Do you offer shipping?
Yes — we ship island-wide. Customers regularly have machines delivered straight to their homes, and we give a proper overview of the vehicle when it arrives rather than leaving you with a crate and a manual.
What brands do you carry or have parts for?
Argo, HiSun, TGB, Arctic Cat, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Echo, Husqvarna, Stihl, DeWalt, Kimpex and many more. If you're not sure whether we can get a part for your machine, ask us — we usually can.
Is the price on the website what I actually pay?
The price shown is the machine only. Freight, PDI, licence and taxes are extra, and financing is available on approved credit. Phone us and we'll give you the full out-the-door figure before you commit to anything.
Can you order a machine you don't have in stock?
Usually, yes. We're an authorized dealer for Argo, HiSun, TGB and Arctic Cat, so if it's in the range we can order it in. Phone 709-334-2902 and tell us what you're after — we'll tell you honestly how long it takes.
Do you service machines you didn't sell?
Yes. Our service department works on ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and small-engine equipment whatever badge is on the tank and however old it is. A machine doesn't stop being worth fixing because the warranty ran out.
Do you really rent tools?
We do. Southern Shore Rentals is inside Melvin's ATV — an extensive list of tools and equipment for hire by the day. If you don't see something on the list, phone and ask.
How do I apply for financing?
Phone us on 709-334-2902, email info@melvinsatv.com, or come into the shop and we'll sit down with you. Financing is subject to approval. More about financing here.
